Manitoba and New Brunswick casino hotels, reviewed
Last revised · facts verified
Leave the big four provinces behind and two casino hotels stand out, one on the prairie and one near the Atlantic: Club Regent in Winnipeg and Casino New Brunswick in Moncton. Casino New Brunswick
Big rooms are the surprise at Moncton's Casino New Brunswick: since 2010 its 126 rooms have started at 440 sq ft, with windows that open onto the city or the mountain. Add a pool, an on-site concert hall, free parking and a welcome for pets, and it's the casino stay of choice in Atlantic Canada, with Hopewell Rocks and Magnetic Hill close by.
Club Regent Casino Hotel
This Canad Inns hotel is joined to Winnipeg's Club Regent Casino and offers 146 smoke-free rooms, roughly 1,200 slots, bingo and an event centre for 1,300. Convenience is the point; glamour isn't.
What about Saskatchewan?
No Saskatchewan resort has made it into our reviews so far. The newest arrival there is Dakota Dunes Resort, whose 155 rooms opened in October 2020 alongside Dakota Dunes Casino, a short drive south of Saskatoon. It's covered on our new openings page.
